I Received An IRS Letter, What Next?
If you receive an IRS letter, the first thing you should do is pay the amount due
or send them all of what they are asking for, right?

NO, please...no. Don't ever pay an IRS "amount due" letter without speaking to your
accountant or tax professional first. We have intimate knowledge of your unique situation
and will be able to help you with the next steps. Sometimes, the IRS or State of WI will
send an "amount due" letter based off of estimated numbers or income. You may think
you have to pay what the letter says, but if you didn't have as much income during the
period stated...you could be overpaying.

We want you to know that we are here for you every step of the way in your tax and
accounting journey. From your first job, filling out your W4 to opening a business for
the first time or retiring..we can help with tax preparation and planning through it all.
We can help answer letters from the IRS or State, call the IRS with you or for you,

(and even the IRS) as painless as possible!
